download.com best practices

Hi, I'd like to increase the number of downloads my product ( Network Magic) is getting on download.com. I've looked at the various paid options including PPD, CPM, etc. and am working to get the product reviewed, but I'm wondering if there are other ways to boost rank in download.com without paying for the advertising fees?

YOU ARE INVISIBLE ON THE NET!

You only have 4 GOOGLE IBLs and 7 in MSN.

That's worse than dismal, the worst I have seen, other than a brand new Site. You can't expect a printed brochure to do any good stacked away in a closet!

Thanks for the feedback Mountain Man, I realize www.branddigital.net is not prominent on the net, don't really need/want it to be. The issue is getting Network Magic from Pure Networks more downloads in Download.com. Any thoughts on that?
