Default SEO Question

I am currently looking to optimize my web site www.a-1cellphones.com . I have been shopping around and A lot of service providers want thounsands. For a thousand do the write new content for your site and redesign it? Now some also want to submit the site and charge alot. I dont need submission. New content would be nice. So I thought about redesign But the site builders dont do content. then i ask the about optimizing the current site and they talk about meta tags and alt tags lol i could do that my self. what is a reasonable price for Optimzing my site?

Thanks,
Thomas Montaner

a-1cellphones - Without knowing all the details of your request, I can generalize for you:

Activation fee: (coding, file name structure, meta tags, directory submission, robots and 404 error handling, etc)
Anywhere from $1500 - 10k

Monthly - depending on how many keywords you want and how competitive they are:
$20 - $200 per keyword per month.

If you're contracting a company, ask to see results, and ask to speak with their clients about their service.

hope this helps.

Default Mmmm - SEO Costs

It all depends on how competitive your market category is. And in the end there's a limit to how much SEO on its own can achieve in a really competitive sector.

When the going gets really tough - like in cellphones - you need a combination of both SEO and pay per click to be really effective. So if you feel you need to spend $10,000 on SEO - you'll get 90% of the value from the first $5,000. That would leave you $5,000 to spend on pay per click.

Along with the code and design work, I would also add to the SEO list a link popularity program. Get both one-way and reciprocal inbound links the boost your rankings. Make sure once they arrive on the new re-design, that the site works for your keywords or the SEO will be for nothing.
