Hi all,
I am a final year Internet computing student and i have been tasked with creating an ebusiness strategy for the following scenario:
Quote:
JustTheTwoOfYou.com is a domain still under development by a reputable UK dating agency. However, they are now beginning to feel that mobile technology could be a secondary avenue for their business which is essentially to provide dating service’s such as ideal match-ups, correspondence and facilitated meeting arrangements. They also help to organise speed dating (where lots of people get together, are split into two’s and talk to each other date for a minute before being split up again) events around the country.
You have been employed by JustTheTwoOfYou.com to investigate and suggest solutions for using mobile technology in addition to their new web presence.

All help appriciated, but to begin can you help me answer some of these questions:
1) DirectDating.com appears to be a large force in online dating in the UK. However it has no page rank shown when visiting the site. Why is this and how are they so popular?
2) Could you help me by describing the technical setup that would be required to send/recieve SMS messages through a server. A nice diagram would be much appriciated :-).
p.s. before anyone starts, i know this is coursework. I am not asking anyone to do the work for me i am simply asking for references/comments that may help me do this myself.
Chris.
