Electrical Contractor looking for related sites

I'm looking for sites to exchange with in the construction trades. I also have a contractor referral list on my site to help promote contractors in all regions of the U.S.

Notice your request - you can actually build your own mini website in our business directory and we probably will be really relevant to you. Once our site is done -(close!! but aren't they always -LOL) we have a services wanted( here our members can post services they are looking to have done) section as well as the business directory.

Just a note looked at your site and it needs some major rework to rank well in the search engines - EG:

Your Description is too long and may be cut short or not included in some search engines.

Your page size is very large, it is greater than 40Kb.
It is recommended that your home page be no more than 40Kb and the other pages in your site be no more than 30Kb.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
Your download time is very large; it is greater than 40 seconds on a 28.8Kbs modem.
Industry standards says that in general people will not wait more that 20 seconds for a page to load. You need to reduce your page size, or image sizes, or reduce the number of images used, in order to decrease the download time.



The reason I suggest this is that though we would like you site posted we really don't want such an image heavy page - doesn't affect us but feel it is counter productive to what you are trying to accomplish.
