I'm looking for a solution to track my website visitors to tune up my website promotion strategies. Is any one of you using real-time traffic tracking service? Or you use server-side website traffic statistics tracking. Which is better one ? Which would you prefer to use? Thank you for your suggestions.

I use Webalizer, and it serves me very well. It is written in C and is fairly easy to install.
You can download it at http://www.mrunix.net/webalizer/ . You will need the GD graphics library by Tom Boutell, which you can get at http://www.boutell.com/gd/ .

Thanks Sanjo. I noticed I have Webalizer with my hosting account. I checked it out but there's found too low info and reports I would like to have: Hit's count, Visitors count and that's all. Is there any more reports or I could not find? Any one using realtime stats service ? What do you think about such services ?
