I Need To Increase My Traffic

I am searching for inexpensive ways to increase traffic to my site. Please advise.

To increase traffic at your site, there are many ways.

But I see that your web is need to changes some.
Your Images on the first page was affect the traffic loading page and visitor will not put an efforts to continue waiting for your loading pages.

Put more content.

Before you work to drive traffic to your site, I think you need to review your content.

First thing I noticed on the link page in your posting was a typo - pseudonym (you dropped the "e").

Also, your nav bar contains typos as well. "Browse Book" "Buy Book" - do you only have one book?

You've got all the things that you do listed in a long sentence. Break this up - new paragraph with bullet points:

What we do:
International and national book signings
Market new, unique authors
...

Mistakes like these make people want to leave your site as soon as they arrive. Driving traffic in won't matter if you don't have a reputable and trustworthy site.

Find someone who is a wordsmith and well-versed in grammar and get him/her to help with your text. Then, work on getting traffic in.

To increase your traffic is not an easy things to do. You must do a lot of job.

One of the way to increase visitors go to your site is by posting into high rank forums as many as you can daily.

Important notes : you must put your signature in it with the information of your URL.
Maybe you should try this first and then watch for your web stats. Maybe it can improve a little.

I don't think that this forum's main use should be to post only to get backlinks, there is a lot of valuable information in here, at least go to the Google section and read the stiky posts. Also you can read more from this section "Promotion Strategies".
The thing is that no one will give you a fast way to improve your traffic. You have to work hard if you want to do it yourself or hire someone that will do that for you.

Here some hints I have applied succesfully by the marketing of my website:

1) PPC Search Engines. Google AdWords is my favorite. However be careful, by using the wrong keywords you can lose a lot. There is a great article in this forum:

2) Link Exchanges: try to exchange links with high quality websites. Build a good reciprocal link directory. My favorit place to do that is www.linkmarket.net (it´s free)

3) Write good articles and post them to special websites promoting articles (i.e. Goarticles.com)

4) Create great and unique content for your website!

yes.. that was a good informations... what you just need was effort to do it.. For the first you will do some trial and error.. but later you will adjust to it... and find that more Content on your site and put the right keywords.. you will just see your traffic increased..

I try and take a proactive role at www.co-bw.com First,find some forums that deal with your services. Give them something to bite on. I gave the guitar forums and several trumpet forums "Health and Exercises for musicians" (a page I generated just for them. They are still eatting it up. My site has only been up since August and some days I average over 100 hits a day. And, my average browser stays online for over five minutes.

Also, go to a forum and generate some controversy by telling them what a great product you have (on such days I get 100 plus hits.) Also, check out my home page, I get a lot of hitsfrom the search engines on the "Color of Sound" related stuff. Check out my sitemap and links pages. Warner Brothers contacted me the other day because they need a prop for the Gilmore Girls. I had never heard of the instrument (geomugo), but it was on one of my links.http://www.co-bw.com/Links%20CBAW.htm and they wanted one.

I am avoiding the link farms. I am getting so much junk in my e-mail from them, that it is rediculous. If you want links try doing what I did and people will love you for it. I also go into these various forums I use and tell them of any updates I have made. Oh, you need some info on "trigger finger," well I have just the page. I have also found that I get very few hits from the reciprocal links on the link farms. Again, most of my hits come from sites that I go in and introduce myself and my product.

Oh, it seemed to me your site took too long to load. I have DSL and I halted the process the first time. People are not patient--including me. So, ask yourself how many customers you loose because your site is slow to load? I re-did my site, and am still redoing it to increase speed and looks. I warn people about the page with lots of photos.

There is not simple way to gain traffic except a lot of work.

1. Your site needs to have a directory with a link prominently placed on your entry page.

2. Work on increasing your PR on GOOGLE as no one with higher PR are going to want to link to sites with PR0 - PR2 as all sub pages will be PR0, this is a priority.

3. A website takes daily work and a lot of it to build. If you have ever had a brick and mortar business you know the time it takes to build that business well your web business is even harder to build.

Unlike a Brick and Mortar business where you have mortages and utilities a web business will require a lot of advertising unless you work constantly on building quality links.

Heck! I could right a book on this subject, take the time to read everything you can find online on this subject unless you have a pile of money to spend to hire someone to do it for you.
