General Directory, Free Submission

We are looking for good quality sites to list in our general directory; it has free submission and no requirement for a reciprocal link. Just find the appropriate category (or suggest one) at http://www.worldsiteindex.com and click the "Add Site" link.

If you do link back to us from a search engine accessible page then either reply to the acceptance email or post here, giving the site submitted and location of the link. Once we verify the link we will adjust your entry to rank better in its category and the search results.

We DO allow some keywords in the site title (link) providing the business/site name is also present, e.g.: "TOLRA Micro Systems Limited - Web Design & E-Commerce".

Hey, cool feature, I wondered what happened - I couldn't remember filling out the title, description and keywords - did I black out for a minute? And then it dawned on me - you filled out the fields from the URL!!

The trouble with that feature is there's a lot of people with spammy title, description and keywords who don't bother to correct them for submission.

smo all sorted, you'd be surprised where some people submit their sites.

Thanks schott2 we think it's coming on well considering we started with nothing, we decided we didn't want yet another dmoz clone. I'm hoping when Google finally does an update and grants us PR it will encourage more submissions, we went live after the last update. :(

No, thank you for submitting, without your submissions and the generosity of those linking to us this directory would not exist.

Remember by giving us a link, and telling us where it is, you can have your site listed higher in it's category and search results.

To update your listing just click the modify link enter the password and click "Standard Review", update what you want and that's it. It's Free.

Or PM me the details or replay to the acceptance emails.

Have just added my website, had to search for an appropriate category, as my website is shopping/food/...but none of those categories seemed right, so I've submitted it to gourmet food and drink gifts.

I've accepted your site into the category you submitted it to, but you're right it doesn't really fit into any of the categories we have.

We've added some more categories in Food if you see one you feel is a better fit or can think of a new one we can add, let me know (by replying to the acceptance email) and I'll move your listing.
