I am new here. I would like to know anyone's thoughts on shipping rates, and the possiblity that SHIPPING cost causes shopping cart abandonment. I ship only USPS Priority. (Apparently I don't have enough daily orders to qualify for UPS...?)
Have other e-commerce operators added shipping to product price and tell customers shipping is already included? Or, do more of you have a set shipping rate that is tacked on at checkout? Currently my shipping is calculated by product weight.I do not want to "make money" on shipping. I'd rather it be a wash. But I am wondering if others are faced with the shipping challenge and how they handle it.
