I read on some forum late yesterday that Google could be indexing both my http: //www.mysite.com and http: //mysite.com resulting in a potential duplicate content issue.
In Google I typed link:mysite.com and it appeared! Does that mean they are both indexed…and if so should I be worried? The poster said something about apache configuration and that I could somehow prevent this. Can anyone share their experience / does this make any sense? |

yes and no
sure, google could be indexing both, but it's not (as far as I know) a duplicate content issue. google will look at both as different as far as pr goes. It's generally a good idea though, to choose one of those urls.. for internal linking as well as incoming links |
