Default Ad rates?

I'm thinking of offering 120x60 ad space on one of my sites. The ad will be non-rotating on all pages(currently 29 but will continue to grow) of the site. Home page is PR6 with a couple of PR5 internal pages. The rest should have their PR when google updates.

Site is receiving an average of 70 unique visitors daily. Pages viewed from Aug 1-24 are 4,000 pages.

How much should I charge per month?

Thanks in advance.

Please don't take this as criticism because it isn't meant that way, but with just 70 uniques a day you'll be lucky to get any takers for a graphical ad of any type.

You might be able to sell a text link or two (for advertising only of course), but you won't make more than a few dollars a month.

You'll really need to boost your traffic level by a wide margin to make any money selling ads.

Thanks for your comment. Still trying to boost traffic.

But others may see the "other end of the stick". The additional benefit of links from this site aside from traffic. :)

Regards.

Point taken, but be very careful about broadcasting the "additional benefit of links from this site aside from traffic." Google might take that to mean you're attempting to sell PageRank (something they don't like one bit).

rlrouse,

I am interested in this topic too. Do you know of any Sites that act as any kind of advisory guideline for different type and size ads for varying traffic levels?

Thanks,
Ken

I don't know of any sites like that right off the top of my head, but based on my own personal experience 500 unique visitors seems to be the minimum number required to seriously consider selling advertising of any type.
