I need some help promoting www.absolutemultimedia.biz
I've considered starting to use press releases but I am unfamiliar with how to distribute them. Any advice on that or other promotional strategies that would be effective for this site would be greatly appreciative. Thanks, Ben

First do some research on writing an effective press release. There are definite techniques to writing a release that will be picked up.
Once you have your release, submit to: http://www.prweb.com I recommend making at least the minimum $10 donation with your release. It will greatly increase your rank in the list of new releases and be picked up by more news outlets and websites. You'll also find that Google will index the pages of the sites that pick up your story and the links will enhance your Google ranking. http://imageselect.us Web solutions for the Photographic Industry |

I'm going to get right on it. -Ben

The link below should give you some helpful ideas about marketing strategies, i.e. white papers, press releases, google adwords strategies, and a unique approach to promotion. The site owner, Perry Marshall, is a bit a rebel. Have a look.
http://www.perrymarshall.com/marketing/index.htm In addition to PR Web, you might want to have a look at a popular press release software application. Here's the link: http://www.onlinepressreleases.com/onlinepr/index.shtml |

I've been typing up a storm today regarding PRWeb, and how to most effectively use that resource to drive both PR (Public Relations) and PR (Page Rank) as well as lots of other benefits. As stated below, you'll want to make a minimum contribution, but I would suggest $80 on your first launch, then $30 for each successive (and no, I don't receive any compensation for contributions!). The reason? Your distribution will increase dramatically... Yahoo News will pick it up (they syndicate from PRWeb at the $80 level), and you can have images (with keyword names) included with your release, as well as additional strategies that will make a world of difference. I say this as one who has used the service for 6 years now, and it's been the core of our product launch efforts... and ACCIDENTLY became the source of our best long-term, high PR rated links. I've coverd some additional details in this post: http://www.webproworld.com/viewtopic.php?t=29647 Check it out for some nuggets, and please feel free to email me or post more questions... I'll answer any you have that I can. Warmest regards, and great success to you, ME
