How much do i charge?

I am looking at placing ads on my site http://workplacehealthandsafety.comIs there a formular for working out how much to charge for placing an ad. i have no idea, if i charge to much i might scare of clients.

Hi and welcome to the forum.

Banner ads are a tough one. It looks like your site is fairly new and traffic is probably limited, therefore you wouldn't get too much.

I probably would recommend charging a flat-rate as opposed to per impression, like $10-$50 / month

You may want to have a look at putting up affiliate banners or even Google's Adwords. Just make sure they are targetted to the information on your site

I have similar problem for my site www.pharmainfo.net

I am getting around 1000 uniques and 8,000 page views average per day. I am not sure how much i can charge for banner on header. Somebody approached me. Pl. advise
