Building links is hard work.

Recently, I read on another forum that one should create a blog at www.blogspot.com because it is often crawled by Google.

Then, create an account at My.Yahoo and add the RSS feed from your Blog to your My.Yahoo home page. This will send the Yahoo spider to your Blog.

Use your Blog to promote your sites and you'll find increased spider activity to your site, and faster indexing of changes and updates

If it is about the arelis software; then I'd definitely say don't bother. Arelis is good at finding link partners, but most of the sites it finds are totally unrelated to any search you have just performed. If they'd improve the internal search algorithms, it'd be a lot more useful.
