Promoting IT Business

Promoting your business in the field of Web Design and Development requires some thing extra to dealt with? I would like to share this idea with my fellow Web Pro Members who have been running their IT business quite lately and effeciently. I am trying to do this business, so need some good advice which can help lot of other people around as well.

Please quote from your experience, how one can start, set the goals and achieve them. We are assuming that a complete infrastructure is behind the marketing campaign. Please share your views. Thanks,
