Hi I can find my site in your directory, but I have no luck when I search your directory according to keyword phrase. Is there a problem somewhere?

I know your post was meant for fxci, but it may be that his directory listings are not included in his search function.

Here is the search order you will find on Search2Search:

When a search is typed into our search engine, it first looks for premium listings, meaning those who have signed up for our pay-per-click services. If it does not find any “paid” results under the specified keyword or phrase, it immediately looks to the Search2Search directory categories for it’s next results, then 3rd party results from our search partners are listed, and last but not least web based or meta search results.

But best of all, our directory lists on a first come first serve basis so because we are still relatively new, people who are signing up now get better visibility when a search is performed on our network.

Probably more than you wanted to know but just thought I'd add it anyway :-)

thanks for the info. I did take a quick look around as well, and it looks good! Why call something a directory search if it does not produce results from the directory? What is the point of a directory otherwise?

I think that his site is has a directory function, however, it may be a seperate function from the search engine.

and thank you Mark! We have revamped and redesigned this engine more times then I care to remember and it's so nice to get the feedback that it's now user friendly.

Now our attention has turned to getting more visibility on the Search Engines sooooo all that have signed up can get the type of results they desire!

We currently rank 8th on Google for PPC Search Network (not the best search term): http://www.google.com/search?sourcei...Search+Network

and on Yahoo we are ranked 4th with one of our affiliated engines (More2Search) and 49th with Search2Search under the same key phrase: http://search.yahoo.com/search?p=PPC...-tab-web-t&b=1

But as we turn our focus from building to SEO activities, this will change.

I appreciate the feedback, I also see that you've listed in the new business directory at MSTBIE. This site is still new but has already generated more traffic than some of my other stable sites so you should start to see some activity from this site as well.
