Default Article publication

Hi there,

I'm in the process of writing an article on website marketing (the first of a series of articles on website-related content) and I was just wondering, since I've never done this before, what are the best places to get such an article published? In general, that is: obviously specific articles have specific types of sites they can be published to.

Also, a question for the mods: would I be allowed, when it's finished, to post the hyperlink to the article for feedback and for people to spread around as they see fit?

Thanks.

Hi,

Go to my site at http://www.creativecauldron.com/links.shtml and check out the links for writers and businesses. There are several places you can contact.

As for a hyperlink to your article, if you're talking about selling it, then it would depend on the contract. Some places want exclusive rights for 6-12 months, so a link is out of the question. Also, publications are well known for moving, or removing, articles all the time. So you would have to check your link regularly to be sure it was still good.

It would be better to have the article on your site. Again, check your contract.

Have Fun,
Jeff

Thanks for the advice, Jeff, but this isn't something I intend to sell. I intend to give it away. I just want the exposure from it.

Hi,

Ah, giving articles away is a whole nother beasty. I post all of my free articles at these sites.

http://www.ideamarketers.com/
http://goarticles.com/
http://www.AuthorConnection.com/
http://www.webpronews.com/submit.html

My articles have wound up on numerous websites and ezines. I also put my articles on my site with an autorespond that will automatically send them to whoever wants to use them. See how I do this at http://www.creativecauldron.com/articles.shtml and http://www.creativecauldron.com/Webs...Articles.shtml

Have Fun,
Jeff

Thank you guys, especially Jeff Colburn. For my purposes, i found one link that was exactly what I had in mind (at least on the surface).

Kickass!
