We are planning on generating debt consolidation leads for ourselves (
www.curadebt.com). We have to avoid SPAM complaints and avoid all complaints. Here are the steps I had taken. Can someone (or several people) with experience in email marketing give me some feedback on whether or not we are taking the right steps?
1. We went to
www.emailresults.com to get several quotes from providers of email lists.
2. We received proposals for sending 1 million opt. in emails at $1000. Companies included Bulls Eye Media, OmniPoint, etc. Bulls Eye Media said they did advertising for Lower My Bills as well as other companies and that a typical click through (for a free debt help ad) would be about 1% with conversions at 2 to 3% (people filling out the form).
3. They said that they would be sending the offer from their server, stating that it was coming from whatever site the person originally opted in at.
4. We are planning on using a different domain (other than curadebt.com), for example, completedebt.com for the lead generation where the leads will be posted through to CuraDebt after the person fills out the form to prevent any spam complaints against CuraDebt.
Can you please help with these questions...
1. Should we have them sign a waiver stating that if there are spam complaints, that they will be liable for them?
2. Do we need to manage a supression list or will they manage it?
3. I have 2 references of theirs to speak with. Are there any other things we should do before launching this campaign?
4. We are paying on a CPM basis. Do you recommend running CPM offers or running CPA offers to the lists of other websites?
Thank you very much
