Default Small Business specal offer

Hi folks,

I have a special promotion for the month of June for Small Businesses to list their business information in a local small business directory http://www.smallbusinessbigworld.com - including what could be a very valuable link to their website.

Any ideas as to how to quickly promote this offer to small businesses? I'm thinking I may have to extend the promotion to July as I didn't plan well enough in advance to promote it for June.

Thanks for any suggestions,

If you want to get it going quickly, then I would try some very targeted PPC campaigns through Google Adwords and Overture.

You might also try some advertising at certain entrepreneurial-related websites, as well. In fact, some off-line advertising might be appropriate, as well.

Thanks Bill.

As is often the case I'm working with a very small budget - you know, the gotta have money to make money problem... so little money available for such advertising, but good suggestions none the less.

Maybe I just don't really have any other worth while options?

Hello. I'd contact the local chamber of commerces and find out what they can offer you. Maybe they'll write something up in their newsletters. I'd also submit some editorial to the local papers - be proactive - call the editors and pitch it to them. Find out of some small business associations and call/submit a write-up to them. Maybe contact the Department of Commerce. Look for local online sites and forums. Good luck.

Thanks americana,

All good ideas, most of which I've tried locally - I just need to somehow do the same nationally and internationally I guess ;-) Thanks for taking the time to make the suggestions.
