Email Marketing through Search Engines

One thing I forgot to ask was, how do I get a hold of the right people in a particular Search Engine to ask them about email marketing with them?

Generally speaking, the search engines aren't in the email marketing business. They're in the business to provide search results, not email addresses.

There are portals like Yahoo! that might allow you to advertise (for a hefty price) through various sponsorships in your topic or category.

The other way is to actually create a website and have people sign up for your email newsletter. Or offer for them to sign up for your "email specials". Typically, you build your own email database of website visitors rather than get this information from the search engines.

You can't get email list from SE, but you can buy some email database from some spammer. But you must keep in mind that: don't be an spammer!

You have to get the traffic to your site. Capture the emails by getting them from people. Build you list this way. Then mail to the list.
