Default Looking for Advice on Large Email List

We have about 650,000 names in our database of customers and people who have opted in to our monthly newsletters.

We follow best practices. Problem, we set up an application 4 years ago to handle our emailing back then it was load them up and send them out.

I've recently noticed that our aol emails are hitting a spam server, even my own imail mail-server is putting them on a list.

How where do I go to school to figure out what I'm doing wrong or what online resources exist as a say checklist.

Last question what over the counter email solutions would assist us in being more full service to measure metric etc... the only thing we can do now is count opt outs and back into sales calculations.

Thanks,

LettuceHead

Try IntelliContact Pro. You can check click through rates, bouncebacks etc. It's the best email marketing software that's out today in terms of features and pricing. http://pimil.intellicontact.com

Default Perhaps I can help you with your problem

Hi LettuceHead,

About AOL...you are far away from being alone at this problem. A lot of articles about AOL email deliverabily have been written at Clickz.com and other sites.

My suggestion is to read
http://postmaster.aol.com/faq/mailerfaq.html

About email software, when you have a free minute read
http://directemailer.com/mailing_list_manager.html
this is my company mailing list manager software description.

Any questions I'm here to answer.
