Email FLASH

We have been doing a newsletter for 2 years now and have gone from gifs to animated gifs and would take to the next progression to FLASH. What is FLASH support in email? What email accounts have the player installed? I was wondering if anyone has any experience from sending staic emails to migrating to FLASH enabled emails? Can you just embed a swf in an email? Any SPAM filter considerations? Basically I am looking for any help on how to determine if my FLASH message is getting across or if we are just wasting our time making an animation that only 10 people will see.
