This Link Exchange thing really works!

We put up a toastmaster's link at

on 8 May 2004 (Saturday) - and we did a search in Google this morning (10 May 2004) and the page was No 7 for Wedding Toastmasters.

Google indexed it within 24 hours as it is dated 9th.

The ranking is not that impressive but,
1. it's a new page, not showing any PR but it is ranked higher than pages with PR5 - at least.
2. So in future, I for one, won't be declining to exchange links with a new page not showing any PR!
2. Incidentally, the person who requested a "link exchange" with us, actually bidded for - and is there at the No 1 position of the Sponsored Links.

But of course, this might just be the temporary "new site/new page" ranking from Google! And by the time you read this, the page could have been dropped!

Anyone else interested - we have link pages for photographers, travel, hotels, gifts etc.
