I have been online since 1998, been through the ups and downs of the search engines, have had to use
an ad acency to help makes ends meet
They have pop up, I hate them but they pay,

My traffic ranking on alexia is 169,420 this week
have bouced around right in the 170 to 180K

Google page ranking of 5, last month by server stats
120,000 unigues

I am self taught web designer, never learne Dreamweaver, Front page Etc, Write my own pages in html, have good top 10 listings on the search engines

For many travel content

Been doing this on my own for way to long,

I am in serious need of help for

there are 1000's of pages, tons of info to still be added, but it seems there are lots of people who want to help, give a few ideas and then sit and collect the money, it's not that design changes can not be done, but I untill the capital is raised to not worry about top 10 listings, in search engines

Try Campgrounds in ?? any state, you find
campgroundsofamerica.com in the top 10 in nearly all

Or horseback riding in ?? what ever 2havefun will be there, vacation rentals ETC the list goes on

Where 2havefun in America or Campgrounds in America
are good names in my thoughts.

I am in really need of people who have great skills in marketing, whether it be just setting me a the right path, or joining me in making the best site for Travel information, Suggestions are needed, tell me the site sucks, needs this or that, I WANT and need to hear it, ignore the pop ups, I'm getting to removing them

I am a webmaster/ web designer/ SEO/ for about 20 websites.

Here are the problems that I see with your site. When I go to the site, there is definately a lot of information but it is unorganized. You need to make clear navigation to the different areas of your site. Also probably just as important, you need to provide a clear image of what you are trying to market, and push that idea throughout the site. Your site has a lot of information, but the information is conflicting with a clear purpose. If people are looking for information they will continue to look deeper into your website, but if people are looking to buy something, it needs to hit them in the face, and be everywhere that they are looking. If a person cant find what they are looking for in about 10 seconds the sale is almost always lost.

This is of course just my opinion, but I have a lot of experience in web marketing. I would also recommend posting this post in the website review forum. You should be able to get more responses there.

Right now how is your cash being generated? People buying ads, affiliate programs etc..?

Most of the revenue is a few advertisers, and fast click, even offering Free advertising, in exchange for Discounts is a problem, I've come to the conclusion that most, travel related smaller business, are not fully understand the advantage of the internet and the advantage to being on established sites. Or the cost of playing the search engine game is making their wallets thin.

The section I want to develope is the Travel Club,
Offering singles a venue to meet other by taking Day excursions and chartered trips to many destinations, in style, and also allowing for them to meet new people, who like to travel, and are looking for relationships, but like me work way to much to get out and meet people.
