Default Domains & Unique IP's

Hi,

we are a small business promoting travel related items. We currently have around 70 live domains, many concentrated on car hire. Up until early this year we were doing resonably well in google and the other major engines through pure organic SEO. However, of late we have tumbled big time and I am starting to wonder if this is because all of our domains are hosted under the same IP address.

Because of this I am starting to get the feeling that the interlinking we have done between domains is now being seen as only internal linking.

To that end I have been looking at various hosting options and have found one that will give 30 unique IP addresses for 30 of my domains which I think may help.

But one thing I am not sure about, is the effect that having all these unique IP addresses provided by the same hosting provider would have.

I would appreciate any comments that any one can offer, because after 4 years of doing quite well the world has now been turned on its head!

Cheers

Sounds like spam to me.

Have you read the Google guidelines about multiple domains?

Whats wrong with one domain and one site?

...becasue Google say:

Don't create multiple pages, subdomains, or domains with substantially duplicate content.
Life would be much easier if you had one site, with different sections for Spain and France - it would probably be easier to rank better with one domain (only one set of incoming links to one site and not 70; etc)
