Adding products to Maine made gifts site
Our company, Out of the Fog - Maine Roasted Coffee and Maine Gifts, will be adding products from multiple producers in the next year. We plan on managing the links page at a .mac account, as we add more Maine artisans, so as not to edit or add to the html for the e-commerce site, at this time.
Our online store is outofthefog.biz. We registered the domain, out-of-the-fog.com (since the url with no dashes was taken), in order to redirect to a web.mac page, (Can we get www back? Though the simplicity is nice, adding www results in error). The links page at web.mac will be easily accessed from the outofthefog.biz site and vice-versa.
Our question is, since both sites are similar and "related", can we submit our links page at .mac to the search engines, Google, yahoo, dmoz, etc., without fear? Also, what about submitting out-of-the-fog.com since it is redirected? Would submitting either one(....com or web.mac...), both, or neither, be advisable? Any and all input would be greatly appreciated.
Thank You,
Out of the Fog-Maine Roasted Coffee and Maine Gifts
