Default Link url comparision

Hi,
One of the websites ask me for link exchange saying that the link to my website is already on their website.
I check it but the link looks like this: <a href="click.html?url=http://www.mywebsite.com">

What do you think about this?

Thanks

They're using their "click.html" page to track clicks to your site. Don't feel pressured to place a reciprocal link, especially if they're offering you a three way link where they link to you from some obscure page and want a link to their main site from your page.

Unless you can expect a lot of traffic from a relevant page, those are pretty much useless.

One way inbound links (IBL's) are what you should focus on. If you can't get those, then shoot for free reciprocal links from established, relevant and related pages that get a lot of traffic.

Note that interstitial redirects will give you NO search engine benefit unless the click.html page uses a 301 redirect to send the user to your site. If the page uses a 302, or is blocked by robots.txt, the link is worthless from an SEO standpoint.

Thanks for answer guys. They use 302 redirection but is there aby way to check their robots.txt file except typing www.domainname.com/robots.txt?
