Best bang for the buck in paid inclusion links or directory

Does anyone have any success stories for pay for inclusion directories or links? Criteria or an evaluation checklist would also be helpful.

The site I'm interested in particular is a online training site www.Trainingdepartment.com but any paid inclusion links containing value would be of interest.

There are plenty of directories you can pay to enter, if the directory is related to your search term obviously it will be better. What are the keywords you target?

There are plenty of other free resources to get links from. I wouldn't bother risking with this kind of paid for inclusion stuff.
