Hi Garland. For starters, take the American Mortgage ad off the front page. It loaded first way ahead of your logo even, and made me think the site was about mortgages, not auctions. Banner ads should be reserved for inside pages, not the front page.

You have a misspelling or something in What's New - it says "You get 1 image fre".

Those welcome links do not play well as the first thing you see on the site and are rather confusing - the different graphics makes for confusion. I would move those down and to the side and put the Featured Auctions first on the page.

You have Classified twice in the main navigation bar at the top. If its supposed to be Classified and Classified Search - doesn't look like that on my monitor (1024 x 768), as the Search is wrapping down to the next line.

There is a lot of white space on the category listing internal pages - the categories block could be moved to a left column, which would bring the listings up and front and center to the eyes, and is what the user wants to see.

Jane,

Thank you for the great comments. I will look into some of the changes you are talking about with the programmers.

The misspelling is just a link that takes you to the full letter. I can see how that would look so I will have to write it so it only shows the full words.

We are changing the Welcome Links to something much cleaner, but I do like your ideal about making the Featured Auctions first.

We are working on centering the navigation links so they look even.

I like the ideal of moving the links to the left side but I don't know how much programming this is going to require becuase the Auction Site was written in coldfusion. This is new to me and not like the html and php I am used too.

Thank you once again.
Have great day.
Garland

It has taken 5 months and still working on the classified section. I figure it will take at least 2 more months before everything is where I would like it.

Our advertisement team is getting ready for the first push and then 2 more this year.

Have a great day.
