I'm a newbie to seo but have been a web dev for 7 years now. I understand how to design and code a site but am totally new to getting links for myself and promoting my own sites.

I feel completely scared of link exchange programs, but wonder what you think of www.linkwizard.net ? Seems they provide a technology that allows you to have links on any static html page of your partner automatically after his approval.

Hi Jim,

For Link Exchange Programs,U must have to find relevent sites with urs having good PR(atleast 2 or 3).
For increasing link popularity U should also done Directory Submissions i-e One Way linking.
