Web-Directories.ws is a well categorized list of 1700+ directories.

Higlights of the list include:
General Directories
Free Directories: 448
Paid Directoies: 276

200+ Regional Directories

700+ Niche Directories, divided into 50+ categories.

I have worked particularly hard at accumulating the niche and regional directories. There are some pretty useful sites listed.

The directory accepts free submissions but please do a quick search of your domain before adding yours. I have already added quite a few.

Best web directories also has one of the most professional submissions services I've tried. I can definitely recommend them.
