You can get a one-way link to your web site from www.consumerpedia.org. You go to the site, type in your company name and click on the "Claim This Page" link at the bottom of the page. Fill out the form and then wait for them to accept it - it took less than a day for me. They have you post a link from your web site to the page you want to claim (their help file says this is to verify that you are in charge of the page you're claiming) but the good thing is that once the page is verified they say you can take the link to them down. So it's a one way link from a PageRank 6 site. Once you have claimed the page, you can put up a description of your company and you can post rebuttals or other comments about posts people leave on your company's page.
Or even better, leave up the link to your claimed page for a little while and have your customers post their experience with your company. I just did a search and they have nearly 17,000 pages in Google so information your clients put in the site can only help if someone finds that in the search engines. |
