Just here to say hi and tell a litle about me.

I own and run a small wedding cake company in the UK called Cakes By Ann, the company is internet based, what I mean is that Ann works from home.

The only problems we have, I have to do all the work on the business side while Ann creates the cakes.
It works well but it is extremely hard being manager, accountant, website designer and updater and working full time in another job.

I have four website running at the moment

The first is the cake business website as you will see, the second was a directory I thought I would build to attract links to the first.

The third is a Celtic Supporters Club website that I am still waiting for information to add and the last is a website I built for my son to try and get him interested in this sort of thing.

I know some of them don't look professional enough and I devote all my spare time to studying how to improve them.

One dilemma I have is if I go for a professional design will it affect my rankings, so I'm a bit wary.

Well I don't want to rant on, although I could probably go for hours with all the questions I have, but I'll keep some for another time.
