Default Suggestions needed!

Hi,
I have a website called www.medcalfmeadows.com I sell items that are fairly unique that arent carried on a large number of other websites. I have been doing the PPC thing which has worked well. I receive on average 100 hits per day. My first month in business I had around 20 sales. Since then however, my sales have been dropping to the point of making the PPC cost not worth it. I dropped the PPC altogether for 3 days and got very few hits so obviously I cant get rid of it just yet. Does anyone have any ideas that can help me out? I have considered newspaper advertisements as well as radio but not sure if the cost is worth more or less than PPC.

Help is greatly appreciated!

Search Engine Optimization (SEO) is what you need to focus on. If you are inclined to do it yourself you can look at searchenginewatch.com. Alternatively, you can hire vendors who specialize in this type of work. We have had a very good experience with Mkia.com - Shane. This kind of work done well is NOT cheap. Thus, your decision focuses on your budget or your time and ability.

Good luck!

Shane,
Thanks for your input. Currently, my search ranking is probably quite low. Therefore I've been using Overture and doing ppc. This works fairly well in that I receive about 80 - 100 hits per day. My problem is that I'm not converting as many as I would like and therefore I'm not making as much as I would like to make with the site. It would be nice though if I could get the same hits without having to pay on a pay-per-click basis.

Thanks again for your help!
