Every time I subscribe to a newsletter I get to the "pump it or dump it" point. Well, after several interesting articles in WebPro newsletter I decided to sign up to the forum and enjoy additional learning and sharing.

I am very unsuccessful affiliate marketer and pretty soon I could publish a book of all missed steps. Lucky as I am the book would fail too :)

Anyway, I’ve spent last 18 years in development and chances are I will stay in this profession for good. Not to say I’m stuck in IT.

My dream was to use development skills, supported with few marketing books, and with couple datafeeds I was about to start filling my shoe boxes with nice affiliate dollars… He-he, didn’t exactly work out hat way.

All in all, I am happy to be here.

Welcome to the forum! Making money thru affiliate marketing is not as easy as they would lead us to believe. I was an Affiliate Manager for awhile and found that "10% of the affiliates earn 90% of the commissions" is true. (Some say 20/80).

I experienced a great deal of trial and error and getting scammed instead of getting checks. Now I have some affiliate dating sites thru www.friendfinders.com and have found them to be honest and timely in commission payments.
