Default Secure folders and PDF files

Hi,

I have an aspdotnet 2 site that has a secured folder, I think that's the term , anyway the user needs to log in to get to the aspdotnet pages in that folder. What I'm struggling with is making sure they can't directly access the PDF files if they are not logged in.

It'll take me ages to work it out on my own, and already has. Can someone point me in the right direction please?

Thank you very much.

Craig

Default Re: Secure folders and PDF files

I'm not familiar with aspdotnet, but why can't you just put the PDF files in that folder? If you're on a Linux host that uses cPanel, you can use the "Web protect" area where you can make any folder (or create a new folder) that's username & password protected, therefore anything in will also be password protected.
