Smile Identifying the Network and Broadcast Address of a Subnet

For those of you learning networking, I've written a tutorial called Identifying the Network and Broadcast Address of a Subnet. In it I provide the basic steps to identify the Network and Broadcast address using an IP/CIDR combination.

Consider it a precursor to learning how to subnet.

I would appreciate any feedback you may have to offer.

By the way, after reading the tutorial feel free to pick up the latest Country IP Blocks access control lists for your networks or websites.

That is a good tutorial Tech Manager. The IP conversion calculator tool is really useful for networking engineer initiates.

Country IP blocks are great for aiding security.

Only thing is there are typos in the tutorial - eg: IP Conversion Calulators.

I am sorry about pointing this - but a long stint of moonlighting as a technical editor has made me instinctively look for typos.

No need to apologize. I hate typos!

Thanks.
