Default Disappearing passwords ????

Hi,

I think I need an expert advise here...

Roughly at the same time I got two problems, they may be connected.

The more annoying that when I try to log in on the web into some some of my discussion forums or socialising pages, it always comes back that the login was unsuccsessful...
On an other machine I have no problems with the same logins.

I guess that is to do with some settings/virus/spyware in my system.

The other problem is that when I try to change the preferences in Google, I got the message:

Your cookies seem to be disabled.
Setting preferences will not work until you enable cookies in your browser.

My cookies are enabled, I have uninstalled for a test period my AVG antivirus, so the message is at least curious.

And... yes... it exactly the same on IE7 and FireFox3
On my other machine no problem with this either.

Both of my system runs XP SP3

Thanks for any input

Attila

Both your IE and FF seem to have been affected. It is worth testing your browser's security from this site: bcheck.scanit.be/

If your browser turns out to be normal, you will have to check for virus, malware or trojans. There is a tool - Security Task Manager ( use your favorite search engine to find the download) which will show you what are the processes running in your machine. It is a long laborious task.
