Default .Net Framework

Hi Guy's,

Is it just me or is there a problem with .Net Framework, I have up to V3 installed, but every Friday when Norton do's a check of my system it say's there is a file missing, which cause's 12 file's not to work properly, but right through the week I get told everything is working properly?

Is the a new problem or a known one?

Cheers

Default Re: .Net Framework

Hi Inarus,

I do not know if this will help but I installed .net3 last week.

What I did notice is that when looking at add/remove programs is that .net1, .net1.1 & .net2 were all there. So before installing 3 I uninstalled 1 -2. (uninstall 2 first)

Obviously I learnt that after a couple of tries.

I then installed .net 3 which went OK, but the surprising thing was that on MS Update the security issues registered as .net 2 but my computer has been working fine.

I have Norton as well
