Who is Calvin?
It may become scam if you reply and order. |

Consider this: if they want that kind of quantity in part and don't want terms (i.e. willing to pay by credit card), it's usually a scam.
Find out where it's being shipped to, under the guise that "costs vary". You'll probably find it's one of Nigeria, another African country, or England (all hotspots for scammers).

Thanks for the feedback!
To be safe, we have instituted a policy of no international sales at this time. That might be a little protectionist, but I think we can afford to wait until better controls are available (if ever). Thanks again. J.R. |

spam and scam?
Spam by e-mail is a type of spam that involves sending identical (or nearly identical) messages to thousands (or millions) of recipients. Perpetrators of such spam ("spammers") often harvest addresses of prospective recipients from Usenet postings or from web pages, obtain them from databases, or simply guess them by using common names and domains. By definition, spam occurs without the permission of the recipients. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Email_spam No exact hit on email scam Can some of you English speaking people define: - spam (better than WikipediA) - scam - fraud My own definition of email spam: Sending unsolicited emails without clear identification. So in my definition, it is not necessary to mass distribute them. Correction to my first post: It may become scam if you reply and order. Should be: It may become scam if you reply. It's most deffinatley a scam, they're probably from the UK and they're retards. First of all when placing an order would you say:
"Please give your best delivery price for the followings: This is my order list " What's the point in - This is my order list? The grammer is silly but then they go and ruin it by calling themselves Calvin! Who in singapore is going to be called Calvin?! Probably hundreds now i've said that! Plus : "Qty: 100 Ea" > Quantity: 100 each Is that what that would mean? Doesnt really make sense does it? I may be totally wrong but this doesn't look all that convincing to me. |

SCAM. Same thing happened to me. If you want to be 100% sure that you're not missing a sale, then tell them that you need full payment up front, and that you require the credit card number now to get authorization from the credit card company. Guaranteed, you will never hear from this person again.
They will know that you are prepared to do the homework necessary to protect yourself from fraud. |
