Default Red Hat Reports Firefox Vulnerability

Multiple bugs affecting user security while using the Firefox browser have prompted the release of this update.

Time to grab some Red Hat update packages for your Firefox browser.

Bugs that could allow a malicious web page to access browser memory, elevate privileges of pop-up windows, or the overwriting of plug-ins by malicious search plug-ins comprise part of the vulnerabilities addressed by the latest Firefox packages.

Users of Firefox are advised to upgrade to the updated package that contains Firefox version 1.0.3, which is not vulnerable to these issues.

Anyone wishing to try the latest Firefox browser can find download information and other details at the Firefox web site.
