E-mail dictionary attack
12,034 e-mails from fgtddcyr@co - co cc
All for a web site that the ISP has killed.
Also a large number of HTML tricks to fool a spam blocker; this guy was working very hard.
What was interesting was the method used. The spammer knew the domain and then must have used every human name ever used since Adam and Eve for the front end of the address.
Oddly, only one actually came through to a real user on the e-mail system. A success ratio of 12000 to 1 just seems a bit futile.
Also noticed that the spammer assumed that e-mail names would be initials and a name.
Anyone else seen this type of spam? It reminds me of a password dictionary attack.
