What i would like to do is encode a file
then say Sam,Bob can decode it but lets say sam gives hes decoder to Jon so now jon can decode it as well I want to have it so that only the person i want can decode what was sent even if was shared it would require thier system to open it But I didnt want jon to be able to open it ? see my idea or say have a code that can be added to the file so that say a web spider can track it Is there such a beast out there ? or anyone have any ideas I could use anything from 0-$ ideas thanks |

I think PGP can do what you are asking (I emphasise: I think - I haven't tried it for this).

What you need to do is program the software to validate to your server and then create a computer id which the software or program looks for. You can then have the software register the CID with your database. So, if anyone else attempts to decode the information they will not be able to do that.
It's the same technique software developers are using these days to cease piracy issues. I hope this helps.
