I know this is very tricky question, however what I don't understand is whom to trust.

Ok, here is what I have experienced - I was looking for "Apple iPod touch 8 GB Digital player" every ecom site has listed the price differently.

Then I compared with the price that various dropshipper(s) is offering and these dropshipper prices were higher than the one that I find on the ecom sites like ebay, amazon etc..

so if I have to use dropshipping mechanism how will I get the price advantage ?

or should I directly work with wholesellers? but in that case I will have to deal with minimum order quantity, huge capital investments etc.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You should directly work with whole seller,one of the most important thing selling digital electric product is to make sure the after sales service is good.The reputation is money.

It doesn't have to be huge capital investments on purchase goods but you got to make sure you have enough money on PROMOTING and ADVERTISING.
