What to charge?

I have a client that needs to have a powerpoint presentation converted to dvd with a voiceover the entire presentation. My question is one of cost. This is a first for me as I know how to convert the presentation but do not know what to bill for the labor of adding the voiceover/converting/editing/burning the dvd. Any thoughts?

If you know how much time it will take, you can multiply that times with X Dollars per hour.

Yes,. it's good to start with a cost price calculation and then determine how much you actually want to have as a profit. Relating that to an hourly rate like bob suggests is a good way to get a feel for what you want to charge.

And check how badly they want it done and how fast. It can positively effect your price..
