I got a copy of my WindowsDailyNews in my e-mail, and the subject line was "Windows Live Translator Launched". In reading the article, I noticed that its service is powered by Systran - which is what everyone else uses including Google and Alta Vista's Babelfish.
So, what will make Microsoft Live's version of the same thing more desirable over the other guys that have been doing this for some time now? Is Microsoft's name THAT mighty that if they do a "monkey-see, monkey-do" rehash of established translator services, everyone will flock to them?
Are we, the users, that naive?
