Microsoft Fends Off EU With Documents

In demanding that Microsoft have its documentation for interoperability provided to the EU by Thanksgiving, the European Commission threatened $440 million in fines.

However, they'll have to settle for the documents instead, as Microsoft and the Commission's trustee have delivered 100 documents totaling 8,500 pages at the deadline.
