Mathew Ingram points to a blog post from Aaron Swartz, who's social bookmarking company Reddit was recently bought by Conde Nast. In the post, Swartz carries on about how the new corporate environment he works in in San Francisco has many faults and there is a general feeling of misery being conveyed.
As Ingram notes, one can go "back and fourth" on whether or not to feel some sort of sympathy for Swartz's situation, or not to since his company was just bought by one of the biggest publishing names in the game.
This leads to a broader question: Would you sacrifice the comfort of your career for more money? Which is more important to you?
