Default Anybody else going to Internet World on 9th May?

Hi all

I think the title of my post says all I need to say. I have just registered online to go to Internet World 2006 in Earls Court which runs from 9th-11th May (inclusive)

Is anyone else from the forum going along? And what specific seminars are you attending?

Maybe I'll bump into you there??

Best regards,

well, I might try and get over there - maybe with a few business cards! :-)

I haven't heard much about it though, for anyone else the website is:

www.internetworld.co.uk/

I just wonder how most of these online companies are going to have interesting displays and what exactly is the point?

I've always found it informative and there is much more this year than in previous years. I only registered this morning and I've already reserved seminars from 10.30 to about 3pm (with a little time for lunch obviously).

It was great in 2003 when it was twinned with other smaller exhibitions (eg the Small Business Exhibition).

HTH

Whats the difference between a VIP ticket and a normal one?

I'm just curious as I know I have no chance of getting a VIP ticket whatsoever. :)

I don't think there are any substantial benefits:

Quote:
As a VIP at Internet World alongside all the normal benefits your complimentary VIP Package includes:

* VIP Registration at www.internetworld.co.uk/vip
* Fast track entrance saving you time and giving you privileged free entry
* Guaranteed seating at your selected seminars enabling you to plan your day
* Our VIP Networking Lounge where you can network with your peers
* Personal VIP Delegate Management service to answer any queries you may have – phone Catherine Jacobs at 020 8232 1600 x233 or email catherine.jacobs@ithacamedia.co.uk
I just wanted a nice badge

I was going to have a stand thing there but decided against it, too busy, let me know how it goes.

Errr, Entry is free anyway; Networking in London is probably great but my chosen market is Essex (local shop for local people and all that); I've already booked my seminars and haven't heard if they're overbooked; I expect each one to have a Q & A session afterwards anyway and I don't expect too bad a queue than the hour I had to wait today for my daughter to get her face painted.

It must just be a badge thing. :)
