Global Internet Usage Stats

Once in awhile, I find myself having to provide usage stats to clients to justify building sites for the most popular browsers, color settings, screen resolution, etc. It helps when I can quote a source.

Does anyone know of resources onliine where I can find this information?

There are a few sites that offer internet user stats, but they seem to charge for the data:

There's also this info from NetMechanic, but I don't know how recent the numbers are or where they got them from.
