Default Populating a B2 Blog by using Google News Alert ?

I think the question kinda speaks for itself. I'd like to subscribe to a bunch of news alerts using a dedicated e-mail address and forward the alerts to the appropriate category in a B2 setup.

This is what B2 says:

You can post news from an email client !
But first you'll have to edit b2config.php, filling the appropriate values for your POP3 email account (this interface doesn't support IMAP yet, only POP3, sorry).
Once you have edited the config options, you can make your webserver execute b2mail.php every set amount of time (depending on your host's performance, this script can be resource intensive, so don't make it run every minute or you'll be kicked).
You can do it with Cron-jobs, or if your host doesn't support it you can look into the various website-monitoring services, and make them check your b2mail.php URL.

I'll nned to get B2 to recognise the Google News Alert varying subject lines, I thinks this is doable.

I've tried a manual copy & paste but the google links didn't appear ?

The idea is to pull together loads of news about the Cotswolds area of England into one place for the covinience of users and to enhance my site at www.cotswoldinternet.com the blog I'm playing with is at www.cotswoldinternet.com/weblog

Any ideas would be very welcome.

Thanks

Malc
